Created a six figure income part-time while working as a manager at Dell Computer leaving behind the corporate world since 2003.
Allowed my wife to be a full-time stay at home mom.
With zero experience I went from answering an ad in a book to earning over $1 Million in 5 years.

That is what I was thinking when I was getting out of the US Army after almost 7 years on active duty.

A millionaire….now that sounded A LOT better than getting lost in some rendition of “Office Space”…basically finding myself in some corporate cubicle with a guy telling me what to do who couldn’t lead his way out of a paper bag with two holes in it.

I just wanted to not have a boss telling me what to do, and I wanted to make a lot of money. Is that too much to ask?

Problem Was I Had ZERO Cash-Flow

That pressure to get money coming in put me on a path that was leading me away from having personal freedom. But I kept a glimmer of hope that I would figure something out that would get me my freedom but also enable me to make a lot of money too.

I almost caved in…but I was fortunate enough to read a few books and believe that I could figure it out…

It’s Not Like I Was Just Chasing Rainbows!

Here is a quick laundry list of things I did in my attempt to figure out what
I was going to do to make a living after the military…with my colorful comments:

Worked with transition recruiters to find a corporate job -“what all the officers were doing to find a job”
Bought a mini-franchise for $6,500 – “my attempt to ‘be my own boss'”
Spent $5,000 on vending machines ($!%&!#) “my attempt to have cashflow…my really bad attempt”
Applied to the FBI and CIA and did the CIA interview – “killing the last ‘wanna be a badass genes'”
Lost my butt in the stock market trying to hit a home run – “my attempt to get rich quick!”
Bought and sold real estate – “rental income but you can’t live off of it”
Became a college football coach – “follow my passion for football…no paycheck…wife unimpressed”
Got a job as an operations supervisor at Dell Computer – “secured an income to take pressure off of the bills”
Taught Officer Candidate School for The Texas National Guard – “extra income source doing what I knew”
Started a home based business – “spent $1,300 to get started – it began small and made me millions…Boom!”

Literally I Went From ZERO To Over $1 Million In 5 years

I had no idea that a little over 5 years later I would go on to earn over $1 Million dollars in
