I never thought getting out of the military was going to be this much fun (I’m now 13 yrs jobless).

“Just take the job and shut up!”

“You have no business experience!”

“Quit chasing rainbows!”

Those were the power phrases I used to think about all the time when I was getting out of the military.

But suddenly, everything changed. All the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. My outlook had completely changed.

Amongst all the chaos and doubt…I answered an ad about how to make more money…just praying it would work

Shortly after I blew out the candles on my 33rd birthday I was retired from the corporate world…FOREVER.

I’ve got some questions for you. Are you going to be further ahead before your next birthday? Are you going to be living your dream? Or will you continue to work inside someone else’s…pissed off knowing you have given in to “the man.”

The secret to making money while you still have a job is you gotta hustle and work your ass off BUT also do it in vehicles that can pay you a lot of money. This isn’t some silly article about how you can make more money filling out surveys, running errands or any of that stuff. These are real ways to make more money.

1. Start A Profitable Blog

Just think about it…your on my blog. This stuff works right? Ultimately you need to brand yourself to establish authority. Best way to do it is with a Blog. It does require work.

Problem is most people don’t make money with their blogs. But some do…some make a LOT of money. One person in particular is a friend of mine, Ray Higdon.

Ray isn’t a veteran, but he went from foreclosure to millionaire in like 5 years and is my personal coach. He is veteran approved.

Plus his freaking Blog does like over $3 Million in sales. So you might want to listen to him…Ya think? Of course! His 3 Minute Expert is the best by the numbers blog course with detailed videos that help you get started even if you don’t know what a Blog is. And it doesn’t matter what your subject. You can do basket weaving and with the right blog tactics…you can make money. Ok maybe find a different topic but you get the drift.

Again there are crap ton of blogs on the internet…but 99% of them don’t make jack for money. Better known as expensive hobbies. But you can…and you can make a lot of it. IMHO this is the Best Blog Course to get you up and running and making money sooner than never.

2. Turn Podcasting Into Cash

Iraq War Veteran John Lee Dumas makes over $2 Million a year, and it all started with a Podcast. He did that in 2 years. And he put together an A-Z…nat’s ass, military detailed program on how to get your podcast up and running…This is an amazing course and John Lee Dumas has created the Podcast BluePrint for you to follow.

Again this guy went from an unknown to a business mogul in 2 short years. People are now begging to be on his show. Just think what you can do. Plus he is a former US Army Tank Officer (like me) so he can’t be that bad! Podcasting can help a lot of people hear your message.

You could do a podcast about so many different subjects. If you have a passion…podcasting can help you build your brand and your following. Plus John teaches you how to make money with it. Follow his footsteps.

I know two of my friends who earn six figures from their podcast. They got John’s program. There are other veteran led podcasts that have gotten their start with John. Just jump on iTunes and check them out…Who knows maybe he will be a guest on your show. Or you will be a guest on his show.

It all starts here. Become part of his podcast community here . He offers a free course, but his paid community is worth it. This is where networking comes into play. You gotta hang around people who have done it so get into the community. Yep you talking into a microphone at your house could lead to a serious business.

3. Rake In Extra Money With Affiliate Marketing

This is where someone else puts a product or service and pays you to refer people to it. I make affiliate commissions every month. Find something that you believe in and refer people to it. And this is a way for you to make money without creating a product yourself. I’ve personally made thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions and so can you.

4. Create A Network Marketing Money Machine

I’ve been in two network marketing companies in 16 years at pretty high levels. I started not knowing anything. I made very little in the first months but then I did.

Matter of fact, I’ve never made less than $250,000/year since 2003.

Again I started part time while working as a manager at Dell…the job I got after I got out of the Army in 2000. I doubled my salary at Dell with my part-time network marketing business and quit Dell in 2003.

You can build it how you like. And no it’s not a pyramid (that was for your skeptical brother-in-law)…the first company I joined is over 25 years old…if it was illegal…they probably would have figured it out like 24 years ago. Duh. You can build your business with marketing campaigns, word of mouth and many other methods. I used all of them.

By the way, many people like the coolness of internet marketing and affiliate sales but for whatever reason they look down their noses at network marketing (maybe they tried it before, maybe someone bugged the crap out to them and it didn’t go right, whatever reason). This always bothered me.

I was chatting with my bud who is a former US Navy Diver and home based business multi-millionaire. We thought we gotta put something together that makes it easier for people so he did just that. I hope these ideas got you thinking…I was looking at what others write about what you should do and the stuff baffles me. These are things you can do to really replace your income. They all require work and focus…but you could combine all of them and create a kick ass business. That’s what I did.
